Neil Roberts: "Seeing Like a Non-State: Rastafari, Schmitt, and the Agency of 'The Movement.'"

Posted Sept. 28, 2010:  Neil Roberts, Assistant Professor of Africana Studies and Faculty Affiliate in Political Science, delivered a public lecture on September 22, 2010 at Yale University titled “Seeing Like a Non-State: Rastafari, Schmitt, and the Agency of ‘The Movement.’”  The talk was part of Yale’s Political Theory Workshop, which provides an interdisciplinary forum for the presentation of work in progress by Yale scholars and visiting faculty members in the fields of political philosophy, social theory, ethics, intellectual history, and related disciplines.  Papers for the public lectures are distributed in advance and audience members come prepared to discuss them in detail.
