Robert Savage: Summer Fellowship at the Marine Biological Laboratory

Aug. 4, 2009  Robert Savage, associate professor of biology, was recently awarded an MBL Associates Endowed Fellowship from the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL). The MBL Associates Endowed Fellowship provides summer research funding for scientists and non-scientists, who have an interest in the research, educational and cultural activities of the Laboratory. At the MBL, Savage is studying the role and evolutionary history of the genetic transcription factor hunchback in lophotrochozoans, an insect group that includes worms, mollusks and locophores.
