Wendy Raymond: Named to Committee on Equal Opportunities in Science and Engineering

Posted March 4, 2010: Raymond, professor of biology and associate dean for institutional diversity, has been appointed to a three-year term to the 15-member National Science Foundation Committee on Equal Opportunity in Science and Engineering.  Established by Congress in 1980 and reporting to directly to the NSF director, this committee recommends policy to increase the presence and success of women, minorities, and persons with disability in science, technology, and engineering.
